Terms & Conditions
Business: Flowrap (“we”, “us”)
Contact: info@flowrap.uk
1) Scope
These Terms apply to: (a) use of our website and online quote/enquiry tool; and (b) any supply of kitchen/door/surface wrapping and related services by Flowrap. If there is any conflict, any written proposal/booking confirmation we send you will take priority for that job.
2) Online quotes and estimates
- Virtual estimate. Any estimate produced from our online form is based on the information and photos you provide. It is not a final price and may change after we verify measurements, condition, access, and materials.
- Changes to price. If the information provided is incomplete/incorrect, or if site conditions require additional preparation, materials, repairs, or extra items, we may revise the price. We will explain the reason and any options before proceeding.
- Survey/verification. Where needed, we may require an in-person or live/video survey before confirming a final price and installation date.
3) Booking, deposits, and holding dates
- Deposit. We typically require a deposit of 20% to secure an installation date.
- Holding a date. We may hold a provisional date for up to 72 hours. If the deposit is not received within that time, we may release the date.
- Balance. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the balance is due within 24 hours of completion.
4) Payments
We accept payment by [bank transfer/card/finance if offered]. If you use third-party finance, that agreement is between you and the finance provider.
5) Your responsibilities (pre-installation)
- Clear and clean. You must clear worktops/surfaces and ensure all areas to be wrapped are cleaned and degreased before we arrive.
- Cleaning fee (if applicable). If areas are not suitably cleaned/degreased, we may charge a cleaning fee of £150 (or your chosen fee) and/or reschedule the work.
- Access and utilities. You must provide safe access, reasonable parking/loading, and (where needed) electricity/lighting.
6) Installation timing and delays
- Start times/ETA. Any start time or completion estimate is approximate. We’ll keep you updated if traffic, access, weather, supplier issues, or other factors affect timing.
- Stock and supplier delays. If a material is discontinued or delayed by suppliers/couriers, we may offer alternatives or reschedule.
7) Colours, samples, and partial matches
- Colour choice. Colour selection is your responsibility. We recommend confirming colours at least 14 days before installation to avoid delays.
- Colour matching. For partial wraps, we cannot guarantee a perfect match to existing colours/finishes, though we will try to get as close as reasonably possible.
8) Cancellations and rescheduling (consumer jobs)
- Cooling-off rights. If you book at a distance (e.g., online) you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days, subject to statutory exceptions and depending on whether you asked us to start work within that period.
- Rescheduling. If you need to change the date, tell us as soon as possible. We’ll try to accommodate a new date, subject to availability.
- Late cancellations and deposits. If you cancel after we have ordered materials or reserved significant time, we may retain all or part of the deposit to cover reasonable costs already incurred (materials, admin, travel planning). We will explain what has been incurred.
- If we cancel. If we have to cancel due to our own fault and cannot offer a suitable alternative date, we will refund any deposit paid for the cancelled work.
9) Aftercare and guarantee
- Aftercare. We will provide aftercare guidance. Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect any guarantee.
- Materials. Material lifespan/appearance (e.g., fading/yellowing) is subject to manufacturer specifications and environmental conditions.
- Workmanship guarantee. We provide a 1-year workmanship guarantee from completion, subject to inspection and exclusions below.
10) Existing fixtures, surfaces, and limitations
- Pre-existing defects. We are not responsible for underlying defects in doors, hinges, screws, kickboard clips, poor paint/plaster, loose grout, swollen MDF, damp, or damaged laminate. Wrapping can highlight imperfections.
- Breakage risk. Reasonable care is taken, but older/brittle fixings can snap when removed. We will notify you if we find issues.
- Paint lift / tape. Where specialist tape is required on painted areas, there is a risk of paint lift if paintwork is weak or poorly bonded.
11) Customer conduct
We have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive or threatening behaviour towards staff. We may stop work and leave if safety is compromised. Any outstanding costs may remain payable.
12) Data protection, referrals, and third-party sharing
- Privacy Notice. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use your personal data (e.g., contact details, address/postcode, project details, photos) and your rights.
- When we share your data with partners (out-of-area referrals). If we cannot service your postcode or capacity is limited, we may offer to pass your enquiry to a trusted third-party installer (“Partner”) only if you explicitly opt in. Consent is a clear opt-in and kept separate from general terms.
- What we share and why. If you opt in, we may share the details needed to progress your enquiry (such as your name, contact details, postcode/address area, project details, and any photos you submitted) so the Partner can contact you and provide a quote/availability.
- Referral fee. If a Partner accepts your enquiry or completes work for you, Flowrap may receive a referral fee/commission. This does not make the Partner our employee, and the Partner’s quotation and contract will be between you and the Partner.
- Partner as separate controller. Once shared, the Partner will handle your personal data under their own privacy information and is responsible for their communications with you.
- Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw your referral consent at any time before we share your enquiry by contacting us at info@flowrap.uk. Withdrawal won’t affect processing already carried out.
- Marketing. Any marketing messages by email/text are subject to PECR rules; marketing opt-ins are separate.
13) Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
14) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown to you at the time of enquiry/booking will apply unless we agree otherwise.
15) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
